I love the GTO. I am patiently waiting for them to drop in price, but they are stuck near $15k and not moving, unless you want a rebuilt title. BUT, it took 10 minutes to find the lede pic.

As badass as the GTO is, and how aggressive the subtleties are in person, it almost always fails to photograph well.

Is there a good car that’s worse to photograph?

I would argue that it’s just a bad looking in person. I think NB Miatas look far better in person, photos don’t do them justice.

Lamborghini Espada. It’s hideous in photos. It’s hideous in real-life, but it’s a gorgeous hideous. I love it.

I wanted one of those sooo bad! A dealer near me was wanting $25,995 for one not long ago, yes it only had 25k miles but major cp IMO.

While Im aware of its capabilities and respect it for them. Its not an attractive car.

I have nothing against Ford or Mustangs. However the last 10 years have not been the best aestheticly speaking.

PS: These are just my opinions and mean nothing to anbody except myself.

Going to be honest with you, not sure how much more they’ll drop. They’ve been at that price for like 5 years now. Though that price seems silly, but it’s a limited production car for a dead marquee.

Most of the current supercars that people criticize as being ugly, boring, etc. (FF, Huracan, S65, and so on) are actually quite stunning in person.

I found my ‘04 used at a Toyota dealer with 52k on it for $11,500. They’re out there, you just gotta look. Far as them not being photogenic...

Audi R8. In pictures it looks like an overgrown TT, but when you see one it’s much wider and lower than in pictures, and exerts this sort of subdued intensity.

I would say the GTO’s siblings fall into this category. The pictures make them look like boring sedans but when you see one in person, it’s clearly an aggressive sporting car.

The SS real problem is at that price point, I’m getting a Cadillac...

The Scirocco’s design doesn’t work for me at all in pictures, so I wasn’t excited when it was revealed.

But when I saw one in the wild for the first time my opinion changed. It looks fantastic - especially if you keep in mind that they virtually started with a Golf.
